Profile

Dena WurmanAs a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), my practice is dedicated exclusively to immigration. This means I spend all of my time and resources keeping current on daily changes in the law and procedures so that I may provide the best service to my clients. Because I have a small firm, I give my clients personal attention. I believe my advice gives my clients an edge navigating the system.

To keep current with changes in local office procedures and issues in the field, I attend AILA liaison meetings with local government officials and participate in daily listservs with other immigration lawyers. Additionally, I volunteer at La Raza Centro Legal and Asian Law Caucus in San Francisco.

My experience as a business manager has equipped me with the skills necessary to effectively communicate with clients and manage their cases. I like to keep my clients informed about how a filing is progressing and whether additional action is required. Because of the size of my practice, I am able to give each of my clients the time and attention their case deserves.

I have a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA), a Juris Doctorate degree (JD) and am licensed to practice federal Immigration law, subject to state professional and ethical rules in the United States.
